1. How can a drug rehab counselor best help a teen with a history of substance abuse?

4. How likely are teens to relapse during rehab treatment?

5. What causes teens to relapse during treatment?

6. What is the best way to prevent a teen from relapsing during rehab treatment? 

7. Are there different types of therapies that work better depending on the substance that is being abused?

8. What therapies are currently being used and how successful are they?

9. How long must a teen stay in rehab in order to fully recover?

10. Why is it important to help a teen with a history of substance abuse?

Second Interview Questions

The purpose of the second interview is justify your mentor as an expert in the field.  Thus, you will be asking at least 5 questions about their background and/or the background of the organization or company where they work.

1.  Who is your mentor and where do they work?
Isabel Godoy and she works at Soledad Enrichment Action in Los Angeles.

2.  What five questions will ask them about their background?

1. What made you want to pursue this career? Was it a school course or a specific event that happened in your life?

2. How long have you been working in this field?

3. What college did you go to and what courses did you take that made you qualified to be a counselor?

4. How did you get a position at your current job?

5. Do you have any past experience besides working at SEA?
